Interac says the e-transfer service is back online and fully operational at all financial institutions.
What they called significant technical issues began on Thursday and prevented people from sending money or receiving it.
It was especially inconvenient for those paying rent on July 1st and needing to make certain payments in time for the long weekend.
Frustrated folks even created the hashtag #InteracRuinedCanadaDay
