Demand for new vehicles and alcohol boosted Canadian retail sales past $49 billion in October.
It’s an increase of 1.5 percent over the month before.
Retail sales were up all across the country especially in BC, Ontario and Quebec.
There was a 1.1 percent increase in New Brunswick over September’s retail sales.
Sales at food & beverage establishments went up 1.1-percent mostly because of higher sales at beer, wine and liquor stores.
