The King Square Cenotaph was rededicated today to the memory of our Afghanistan war vets.
Saint Johner Laurie Greenslade’s son, David, was killed in Afghanistan in 2007,.just three years after he graduated from high school. She tells CHSJ News she’s glad to see the recognition of their sacrifices.
She says especially in light of what happened in Moncton this week, New Brunswickers have a greater awareness of the sacrifices of those who choose to serve and protect us.
