SJPD Release Sketch In Hopes Of Ending A String of Bank Robberies

“Someone out there knows these individuals or this individual and we want that person to come forward and provide us with information”.

That is Sgt. Jay Henderson of the Saint John Police Major Crime Unit on the five armed bank robberies in the city since October. He says the reasons are varied for why this is happening.

He says it could the bravado of being caught, drug addiction but he’s not sure what could be fueling this but they want them to stop.

The most recent bank robbery was last Thurday night at the CIBC branch on Consumers Drive.
