Catastrophic flooding is wreaking havoc in Houston, Texas thanks the former Hurricane Harvey which is now a Tropical Storm.
3000 troops are being sent to Houston to help people deal with the aftermath of the flooding.
Meterologist Marshall Hawkns of Environment Canada tells us some places got more than 660 millimetres of rain and more is on the way today.
He says it continues to move moisture in from the Gulf of Mexico adding Harvey is not expected to impact Canada whatsoever.
Of the many devastating pictures and video on social media, one shows a before and after of a dry Houston highway and a more recent pic of a barely recognizable roadway covered in very high water.
