Correctional Service Canada has sent out a release that a Saint John man who was an inmate at the penitentiary in Dorchester has died.
68-year-old Gregory Stephen was serving a sentence for the robbery of the Bayview Credit Union on the city’s west side back in September of 2013 which forced the lockdown of the St. Rose and Barnhill schools.
According to an obituary, Gregory died after a battle with cancer.
