A homeowner in Maugerville suffered minor injuries after being assaulted with a weapon during a breakin.
The RCMP in Oromocto were called to the home on Route 105 in Maugerville.
They were told four or five people, all believed to be men, broke into the home and were confronted by the homeowner. That was when the assault happened before the home invaders fled.
