Another warm day is forecast for Metro Moncton which has prompted the Department of Health to issue a Level 1 Heat Alert.
Humidex values are predicted to exceed 35 for this afternoon.
Fredericton and Miramichi are also under a Level 1 heat alert today.
The Health Department is urging New Brunswickers to frequently check on those who are most at-risk for heat illness including seniors, small children and anyone with chronic medical conditions.
