New Airline Sells Out First Flight To Moncton

NewLeaf Travel has announced its inaugural flight at the Greater Moncton International Airport is a sellout.

The Hamilton to Moncton flight on Friday has been sold out and many other flights are also full this week as the new airline takes flight.

Airport CEO Bernard LeBlanc says this will give passengers in Moncton more options.

“In Canada and unlike the U.S. and Europe, we haven’t had a lot of low-cost travel options so this is something we think our customers will greatly appreciate,” says LeBlanc.

Initially twice a week, flights will depart Moncton on Fridays and Mondays for Hamilton and then on to Edmonton.

NewLeaf Travel says frequency may increase depending on demand.
