The Radiothon Brings In $177,000 In One Day

Another successful Love Your Hospital Radioathon is in the books raising $177,000 for the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation.

The money will go towards pediatric services through The Give campaign.

Foundation President and CEO Jeff McAloon is thrilled with the response from the community telling us everyone is exhausted but thrilled with a great day.

He says this money will improve pediatric services covering babies and kids who are one day shy of their 18th birthday.

The staff of Country 94 and 97.3 The Wave were on the air from the Regional hospital from 6am to 6pm.

One of the last donations to come in was $1000 from the children of Rothesay family who chose to donate to this cause over getting Christmas presents this year.
