A 24 year old man has been arrested after a chase with police down Crown Street. Police were pursuing a car that had been reported stolen. The car crashed into a hydro pole, knocking it over and writing off the vehicle. The driver then took off but was arrested a short time later along the railway tracks.
Police are also investigating a smash and grab at Shoppers on Crown Street. A rock was thrown through one of the front doors with a quantity of cologne being stolen.
