It’s no joke…
On April 1st, small businesses in New Brunswick are getting a break on taxes.
The small business income tax rate will be lowered to three percent.
This is the third reduction since January 1st, 2015, when the rate was 4.5 percent.
Crucial to the economy, Premier Brian Gallant says a further cut should help small businesses better compete, invest and create jobs.
The Gallant government has promised to drop the rate even further by 2018 – down to 2.5 percent.
Pleased to announce today that as of April 1st, the small business income tax rate will be cut for the third time to 3 per cent. pic.twitter.com/09KvJTvBbz
