Provincial Health Minister Victor Boudreau is encouraging everyone to celebrate the work and expertise of nurses during National Nursing Week.
This year’s theme is #YesThisIsNursing and highlights the unexpected places, settings and sectors where nurses work.
It also highlights the unique opportunities presented by social media and emerging technology trends.
There are 9,000 registered nurses and nurse practitioners in New Brunswick working in a wide range of areas including health care, education, and research and policy.
Brenda Kinney, President of the Nurses Association of New Brunswick says they are prepared to work collaboratively with government to improve health care for everyone.
