Naming Rights For Trade and Convention Centre Up For Discussion

More cities in Canada are turning to partnerships with corporations to fund improvementsto facilities–and common councillor John Mackenzie wants to ensure the management agreement for the Trade and Convention Centre leaves room for naming rights after corporate partners.

The city’s Bill Edwards says as far as he knows they’re leaving that option open.

Edwards said staff will double check on the details of the agreement.
