The city was concerned after passing this year’s budget about restraining costs before we got hammered by a succession of snowstorms. Kevin Rice is the city’s Deputy Commissioner of Transportation and Environment Services and says he will be preparing a report for Common Council on how much the storms cost the city when it’s all said and done.
The Weather Network reports Saint John has received 264 centimeters of snow so far this winter, just 20 centimeters less than Moncton.
The long range forecast is calling for another 10 centimeters on Friday.
