Cooke Promises Biggest Fireworks Display In The Region

It promises to be the biggest fireworks show in our region this year.
That word from Cooke Aquaculture CEO Glenn Cooke, as the company celebrates it’s 30th anniversary by sponsoring the Granite Town Festival fireworks tomorrow night (Saturday) in St. George.
Cooke Aquaculture began in 1985, as a 3-man, 5000 fish operation in L’etete, growing to be the world’s largest independent, fully-integrated salmon farming company.
It employs 3500 people globally, 1000 in New Brunswick, most of which are in Charlotte County.
The Granite Town Festival in St. George has many festivities throughout the weekend, including a Little People’s Parade, boat poker run, bouncy houses for the kids, BBQ’s, and the Children’s Wish Foundation Charity Golf Classic.
The fireworks will begin at dusk. In case of rain, the show will be held on the first clear night.
