A fire last night at 22 Main Street West where a tavern and apartments are located.
Platoon Chief Eric Garland says when fire crews arrived smoke and flames could be seen from the basement and the building was evacuated.
The fire was put out in and around the electrical entrance before it could spread to the rest of the building.
The cause is not believed to be suspicious.
