Atcon is a prime example why taxpayer money should not be given to businesses in order to create jobs and grow the economy. So says Kevin Lacey, the Atlantic Director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
Lacey suggests if you still want to do that, you could have an independent committee advising the provincial government on who should get help in order to remove political considerations from the equation.
