A 53-year-old man who was recently stopped during a traffic check on the Trans Canada Highway outside of Fredericton has been charged with drug-related offences.
During a search of the vehicle on June 14 th RCMP found bags of marijuana and hash and a bag with an unknown substance.
As a result, Edward Woolridge from Grand Falls, Newfoundland and Labrador has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in both cannabis and cannabis resin.
He is making a court appearance today.
