The provincial Liberals are accusing Opposition leader Blaine Higgs of turning his back on Saint John when it comes to ending poverty.
Saint John Harbour M-L-A Dr. Ed Doherty says Higgs would cut funding to Living Saint John whose aim is to end generational poverty in the city and he questions whether the Conservative M-L-As in Saint John will stand up for their constituents or meekly follow their leader.
The Liberals have pledged $10 million to Living Saint John over 5 years.
