Kennebecasis Island ferry stopping for the year

The seasonal ferry to Kennebecasis Island is shutting down for the year.

According to the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, the ferry’s final run from the island is scheduled for 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The ferry runs between Summerville on the Kingston Peninsula and Kennebecasis Island at the mouth of the Kennebecasis River.
