Mother Of Man Killed By Fireworks Wants Stricter Laws

The mother of a man killed by fireworks over the weekend wants stricter laws put in place.
Kathleen Staples says the state of Maine should consider making safety training courses mandatory, before allowing anyone to use fireworks.
She comparing them to other regulated items like cars and guns.
Her son, 22 year old Devon Staples was killed instantly Saturday night, while celebrating July 4th at a home in Calais, Maine, after launching a firework from the top of his head.
Staples is the first fireworks related death in Maine, since they were made legal in January 2012.
