A 60 year old man from Pointe-Verte has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a two-year long investigation into child sexual exploitation.
He appeared in Bathurst court yesterday and entered his plea on six charges including sexual interference, and possession and distribution of child pornography.
He remains behind bars and will return to court in June for sentencing…He can’t be identified due to a publication ban.
The charges stemmed from an investigation that was launched in 2014 by the RCMP in New Brunswick’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
The two victims were identified in 2015.
