NDP Leader Jennifer McKenzie says she was fully expecting an election call on Monday.
When asked by reporters about the intent of the media advisory issued on Friday night, McKenzie said she thought for sure the Premier was planning on calling a snap election.
Although the NDP currently does not have any confirmed candidates, McKenzie said they would have been ready to go.
