It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Brandon Richard Gordon Comeau, which occurred on Friday, September 4th, 2026. Born on October 4th, 1992, in Saint John, he is the son of Kevin and Tammy Comeau.
Brandon worked at the west side Mill as a Scaffolder. He graduated from Rothesay High School and enjoyed playing football. He enjoyed going to the gym and he loved his muscles just as much as he loved his family. He was a loving son, partner, father, brother, uncle and friend. Family was most important to him and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, Brandon is survived by his loving and devoted fiancée Sara Adams of 5.5 years; their children Sophie Adams, Axel Comeau, Ben Adams and his little bean Quinn Comeau; brother Brady Comeau (Sean) of Ottawa; sister Jayla Comeau of Saint John; maternal grandfather Richard Childs (Emma); father-in-law Wayne Armstrong (Bonnie); nieces & nephews Kashton, Ivy and Charles; and “his boys”, his friends that he loved like family.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that he is also survived by his brothers and sisters of Local 1386. Brandon was a union man in every sense of the word and was forever thankful for the friendships he created.
Brandon was predeceased by his paternal grandparents George & Ivy Comeau and maternal grandmother Shirley Hamilton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, September 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Wednesday, September 9th at 4 p.m. Donations in memory of Brandon may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
