It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Kelly Ann (Davis) Bond, which occurred on Friday, September 4th, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on October 29th, 1961, in Saint John, NB, she is the daughter of Charles Alfred Davis Jr. and Judith Esther (Adams) Davis. In her early years she worked at Braxco popsicle factory, the Superstore, ending in homecare. She was kind, loving, caring and always put others first before herself. She was strong, stubborn and not afraid to tell you what she thought. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and heard no matter who you were. She was everyone’s favorite and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kelly is survived by her daughter Ashley Morton (Lucas) of Bains Corner; son Adam Bond of Saint John; siblings Vickie Jones of Saint John, Linda Davis of Saint John, Laurie Prendergast of Moncton, Charles Alfred Davis 3rd (Brandy) of Ontario; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Kelly was predeceased by her brother-in-law David Prendergast.
The family would like to express thanks to the Doctors, especially Dr. Bewick and Dr. Pozeg, the nurses and staff of 5B N for their care and compassion.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, September 9th from 3 to 6 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Thursday, September 10th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Kelly may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
