May 16, 1935 ~ April 26, 2026 (age 90)
It is with appreciation of a life full of many memories, that the family of Greta Leora Logan announce her passing which occurred on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Garnett Settlement, NB, May 16, 1935, a daughter of the late Allen and E. Etta (Rogers) Garnett, wife of the late James Logan.
An active member of Garnett Settlement Christian Church, a member of the Ladies Guild and where along with Rhoda Merrithew would spend a week each summer in the kitchen preparing snacks for Vacation Bible School. Other interests include quilting, knitting, crocheting, reading, jigsaw puzzles, wordsearch books, and enjoying the many birds at the feeders.
Survived by sons Donnie and Jason of Garnett Settlement, NB and daughter Ellen (Rob) Arsenault of Donaldston, PEI; grandchildren Amanda, Kristy (Nathan), Ethan and Evan; daughters-in-law Charmaine and Heather; sister Bernice (Ron) Cook, Garnett Settlement, NB, brother Kenneth (Barb), Havelock, NB and sister-in-law Ruth Garnett, Petitcodiac, NB. Affectionately known as “Gram” to Becky (Hosford) Curnew, Art Hosford, and Jessica (Hosford) Moore and their families. Predeceased besides parents and husband by infant son Dennis Andrew; siblings and their spouses: Marion and Len Drady, Beverly and Cecile, James and Thelma, Walter and Helen, Percy, Lottie and Willard Duncan, Bessie and George Wilson, Curtis and June, Genevieve; sisters-in-law: Mary, Irene and Dorothy (Dot); and special nephew Donnie Duncan and his wife Elaine.
Thank you to friend Irene Hosford and niece Betty Collin for all their help over the last couple of years. Thanks also to Dr. Ginette Griffin, Dr. Stephen A. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB (506-646-2424) with visitation on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Fundy Chapel on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 12 PM. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 11 AM. Donations may be made to Garnett Settlement Christian Church, Maritime Christian College, Princess Margaret Lodge (Toronto), Diabetic Society, Bobby’s Hospice, or any other desired.
