May 10, 1935 – December 24, 2025
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, on Thursday morning December 24th at Bobby’s Hospice. She is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Saying goodbye to the constant in our lives, our family matriarch. Born in Woodwards Cove, Grand Manan, NB on May 10th, 1935, where she was the daughter of Ernest and Flora (Raymond) Flagg.
Hilda was many things to many people: Wife, Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grand Mother, Sister, Aunt, loyal friend, Faithful Church Member and enjoyed Ladies Bible Study and Harambee Missionary Group. She always knew it was the little things in life that made the most precious memories. She loved spending time with her family and friends, which more often than not included a game of cards. Always known for her love of a good feed of fish and she loved hopping in the car for a scenic drive. She was always there with a hug and a big smile.
Hilda was a woman of great faith and devotion, our pillar of strength and love, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by Daughters: Darlene (Harry), Bernadine (Fred), Cheryl (John) and Janet. Sons Philip, Stephen (Lisa), and Dale (Wanda). Grandchildren: Myles, Emily, Grace, Geoffry, Joshua, Jordan, Kalan, Jena, Mandon, Josiah, Cheryl, Jonathan, Jason, Rachel, Denise, Anthony, Amelia and 14 Great Grand Children. Predeceased by husbands Robert Mott and Bernard Munn, sisters Gertie, Eunice, Juanita, Marie and Rose and brothers Doug and Eddie and half brothers Calvin and Raymond Laskey.
The family would like to extend a special thanks and appreciation to Debbie and Bobby Parent for their wonderful compassion and care during this difficult time.
