It is with great sadness the family of John Franklin “Frank” Vautour announce his passing on Sunday May 24, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a period of failing health. Born in Saint John, N.B. on January 28, 1947, Frank was a son of the late John Dennis Vautour and Dorothy Helen (Devinney) Vautour, and husband of the late Elizabeth Francis (Hetherington) Vautour.
Frank is survived by two brothers; Brian Joseph Vautour, of Saint John, and Wayne Dennis (Stella Doiron) Vautour, of Quispamsis, four nieces; Krista Ann Craig, Shanna Miller, Shalynn Vautour, Kathleen Vautour, two nephews; Matthew Vautour (Alicia Wilson), and Trevor Gallant (Celeste Burley), two great nephews, Kyle Vautour, and Ryan Delorey, great nieces; Shania Miller, Abby Vautour, and Emma Vautour, two sisters – in – law; Marilyn Hetherington, of Fredericton, Sheila Hetherington, of Fredericton, and brother – in – law; Gary Hetherington, of Moncton.
Frank was predeceased by his parents John and Dorothy Vautour, and his sister; Anne Marie Gallant.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). Cremation has taken place. There will be no visiting or funeral service at this time. A graveside interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:00am. Online condolences can be made at www.
