It is with great sadness that the family of Leonard “Len” Douglas Davis announces his passing which occurred on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Born in Saint John, NB, on December 26, 1961, he was the son of Donald Meryle Davis and the late Shirley Marie (Leblanc) Davis.
Len was a man defined by integrity, dedication, and quiet strength. A respected professional accountant and award winning certified financial planner, he approached his work with diligence and care, earning the trust and appreciation of his clients and colleagues alike. Beyond his profession, Len was a devoted father and grandfather, a loving partner, son, brother, cousin, and friend, whose steady presence and thoughtful guidance enriched the lives of those closest to him. He was deeply respected within his community, not only for his professional accomplishments but for his kindness, reliability, and genuine character. Len will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Len leaves behind his partner, Karen Bird; his children, Taylor Davis, Matthew Davis, Jordan Davis, Pierce Davis, Charlotte Davis and his step-children Matthew Hutchison and Jeffrey Hutchison; his grandchildren, Finn Arcana, Luca Arcana and Madelynn Davis; his siblings, Wendy Whiteneck and Raymond Davis; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. In addition to his mother, Len was predeceased by his brothers, Robert Davis and Donald (“ Butch”) Davis; and his sister, Della Smith.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held from the Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Donations in memory of Len may be made to the Saint John SPCA.
