With heavy hearts, the family of Robert Allan Clark announce his passing on June 10, 2026.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on September 30, 1946, Robert was the beloved son of the late Lloyd and Olive (Hicks) Clark.
Robert will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tammy (John) Ford and Robin (Dennis) Sonier; his son, Christopher (Charlotte) Clark; his brothers, Ralph Clark and Glenn (Lai) Clark; his sister, Alois (Russell) Harvey; his cherished grandchildren, Patrick, Adam, Amber (Chris), Emma (Austin), and Michael; and his great-granddaughter, Haley. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Robert spent the majority of his working career in the Air Force as a Traffic Technician. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He treasured time spent with family, whether sharing a meal together, enjoying a friendly game of cards—especially a good game of cribbage—or simply spending quiet moments in one another’s company. He enjoyed relaxing at his computer, often playing Hidden Object and Match 3 games, and could frequently be found unwinding while watching an episode of The Waltons. In earlier years, Robert and Doreen shared a love of travel and made many treasured memories together, particularly during their trips to Cuba.
In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brothers, Lloyd Clark Jr. and Wayne Clark.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Family and friends who wish to attend are invited to a graveside service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
For those who wish, donations in Robert’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
