With heavy hearts we announcing the passing of Thomas Joseph Hammer, December 20, 1951 – December 3, 2025.
Tom leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 49 years, his Susie-Q ( Susan Hammer).
Tom was a loving father to his two daughters Jen and Kristy, and his son Tommy. Tom had many nicknames throughout his life but his favorite was Papa. He loved his grandchildren, Nico, James, Hailey, Jack and Lily, with all his heart and will be deeply missed by them all.
Tom will be warmly remembered by his sons-in-law Ryan and Marc, his brothers and sisters and the many family and friends whose lives he touched. He had a way with people that was electric and made connections everywhere he went. He was a jack-of-all-trades with a kind soul that was always willing to help. Tom will never be forgotten by those who were fortunate to meet him.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). A Celebration of Life in his hometown of Brantford, Ontario will be arranged in the spring. Donations in memory of Tom may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
