Saint John police are asking for any witnesses to a hit and run collision on Friday night on Rockland Road to give them or Crime Stoppers a call.
Around 11:30 p.m., police were called to the area and found a 16-year-old girl who was alert but had tire marks on her body and an injured ankle.
Although the girl couldn’t provide much information, witnesses said it was a dark coloured “crossover” style vehicle, while another witness said they saw a black Mitsubishi RVR driving quickly from the area.
