A 24 year old man and three year old boy remain in hospital with life threatening injuries.
RCMP Commanding Officer Roger Brown says you can’t prepare yourself for something like this, “How those individuals step up to the plate, and how they deal with a situation like that with a tremendous amount of compassion and caring for the family, and then also have to deal with it from a policing perspective.”
Brown says he has great respect and pride for all of the emergency responders, “These are incredible people. Sometimes you just sit back and say wow. Given the opportunity there are a lot of people there who are going to make a difference going forward.”
